Inspired by fashion, Annes first medium was make-up. She secured one of only 30 places on a highly prestigious course at the London College of Fashion specialising in make-up for television, fashion, theatre, wig making and wig dressing.
Work experience with Elite Model Management ‘home of the supermodels’ included test shoot make-up for the ‘books‘ of new and next generation models. Make-up for Imperial Cancer Fashion Show at the Hilton, Park lane. Photo shoots with graduate fashion students at Harrow College and St Martins school of Art.

Back in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the expertise and skills perfected during her time in London, Anne quickly became first choice for the best photographers, ad agencies, hair and fashion mags. Fashion had set Anne on a path and provided a means to forge her identity- but make-up was not to be her final destination.
Annes return home was not only to facilitate success as a make-up artist but more importantly to allow her to cultivate the impending role in her life, that of an artist.
